Occasionally their network screws up and they switch stuff around trying to get their credit card machine working. When they lose faith in their DLink router, they want to be able to switch everything over to the Linksys router, but then the credit card machine doesn't work. So I whitelisted it.
Bryan called me (Gabe) yesterday to complain that the service has been flaky for the past 10 days. I called him back and explained our auth server problems. It sounded like there may have been some router problems as well, so I offered to swap out his router. Which I did today. His Rogers cable connection was acting a bit flaky, but everything's working now.
